Megan Kelly’s Boregasm

The FOX Presidential Game Show, er, Debate-In case you missed it

Set aside the jeopardy-style set, the faux debate was really just the same rotation of banality and insipid pseudo-insanity and populist paranoia cartoonized by no-nothing idiots Will you cut the EPA, department of education and the IRS? Is Climate Change anti-American. Blah=blah-blah. kel

Huckabee decries the “donor class” even as he and the rest of them are on their knees, mouths open, ready to catch a load from millionaires and billionaires: Walker and the Kochs, Cruz and his wealthy friends, one of whom gave $5 million(Because he just cares about America for you and me, right?) Jeb Bush and Saudi Arabia…They are all sucking at the appendage of the donor class, Huck!

Carson believes we should all tithe like in the bible. Here that Jews, Muslims, Buddhists? You are no bound by Carson’s bible. Dear god, Carson is whiter than me!

Bush was for getting a cohesive national standard for education abolished, because Texas teaching dinosaurs and cowboys living together, and that slavery had nothing to do with the Civil War should be left up to the state. Utah should teach kids we all came from a planet in space consistent with Mormon teaching, while Alabama teaches Christianity, or bans Mark Twain because he was anti-war. How about this, Mississippi can’t afford to teach their kids, but Illinois can, creating a system of have and have nots.

And Huckabee giving constitutional rights to a fetus. It all sounds wonderfully merciful and godly)nothing in the bible about abortion) but the end game means criminalizing the mother. If she gives herself an abortion she’s a murderer.

Find its way into every answer. WAR! More War! And Really more war! Check please, Raytheon, GE, Northrop and war industry.

Can we now start calling Jeb Bush, stuttering Jeb? Uh, eh, er, oh, eh…

Most often heard phrase, from everyone…”I’m the only guy on this stage who…”

Thanks to Donald Trump for bringing the immigration issue to the nation’s attention…a month ago…because no one had been talking about it constantly, except everybody on every channel constantly for, oh, since the Reagan Administration! Trump called the border “Medieval Times.” Have you ever been to Medieval Times? Love their ribs!

And Mark Rubio, who’s hair was brought to us by a grant from Exxon-Mobil sounds like he is in a high school, debate club. I keep waiting for him to start crying, or shout “Spartans rule!”

Wow, and then someone invoked Carly Fiorina for her negotiating skills regarding the Iran issue, because she did so well running Hewlett Packard…off a cliff. Scott Walker, however, would throw out the Iran deal in 2 years, regardless of whether it worked by then or not be cause of the Iran hostages in 1979. He realizes of course that we do business with Germany after WW2, and Japan, Spain and England, both of whom we fought far bloodier conflicts with, or Canada after they invaded us in the 18th Century, and Mexico, oh, also Vietnam!

Finally, we should protect human life at all stages of life. According to Rubio, that’s called the constitution. And Trump, who favored choice and an assault weapons ban, who is now pro-life and wants AK-47s in every classroom! I’m more pro-life than you. No I am I believe in full constitutional rights at birth. I believe it’s a baby when you and the wife decide to pork…And I believe life begins when you club the woman over the head just before dragging her back to the cave.

The candidates on gay marriage: I believe in unconditional love. That said, I have some conditions…

On Black Lives matter: Scott Walker wants to retrain all of America’s police officers, sounding like a liberal . Huckabee says all lives matter. Carson says if the police tell you to bend over for no reason anywhere at anytime, you must comply because We vill march to Sudetenland, und then Czechoslovakia and , Seig Heil! Seig…

To recap: This wasn’t a debate. This was a special edition of the Megan Kelly show. It was the same tired stupidity we hear over and over on FOX News. No one debated. There was no rebuttal, back and forth, it was all “what do you think?” it was playground children going, “I would totally throw a huge bomb at their head using a secret Jurassic park giant Pterodactyl!”

According to Ted Cruz, Iran, China, Russia, ISIS, and damn near everyone is our enemy. Who isn’t our enemy according to these simps. Walker wants to draw a line in the sand at the Czech Republic. What? Huckabee, “the purpose of the military is to kill people and break things. we have to remember what the military is for, he says. Exactly, the military is for making Huckabee’s pals in corporate boardrooms wealthy at the expense of the heads, arms and legs of our soldiers, sorry, our heroes!

“It’s worth noting that Iran released our hostages the day Ronald Reagan took office.” Yeah, because they got fucking paid in a deal Oliver North plead the 5th on and Reagan couldn’t remember.

Finally, Kelly wanted to know who heard directly from god. Well, Ted Cruz, yup! “Scripture tells us you shall know them by their fruits.” Well we saw some fruits on stage tonight. Kasich couldn’t answer the question and was struck by lightening in one of the show’s more dramatic moments. Walker hasn’t spoken directly to god, but he has been “washed by the blood of Jesus Christ.” Then Megan wanted to know what Marco Rubio thought about” God and our veterans.” Ben Carson wants us all to be Christians.

In closing, Kasich says, there is reason to hope again in Ohio. Has he been to Ohio? Christie fought terrorists in New Jersey. Rand Paul is a different kind of republican; bigger better meatier, bolder-Viagra. Marco Rubio will make a greater America greater, and he was poorer than the poorest church mouse. Ted Cruz will spend his first term watching Planned Parenthood videos and being really angry because he’s Cuban! Carson will fight for freedom because it isn’t free. What is the market rate on freedom these days? I’ll give you a buck eighty-two. Huckabee will bring us all to god. Scott Walker turned Wisconsin around and made it 21st in income, above Alabama, Arkansas, Guam and American Samoa, or 23rd in life expectancy behind even Florida with the trifecta of deaths by aging, Spring break mishaps and alligator attacks. And Bush will make it easier through cutting regulations for corporations to make even more money. And the Donald thinks we aren’t winners. We’ll have to beat Mexico, Japan and China. I will wear a suit made of American flags!

#JeSuisCharlie: The Paris Attack

mohYou will hear a great deal of spin, propaganda and lies, particularly from the gun pornographers in the NRA. They will tell you French police do not carry weapons and that gun ownership in France is banned. The responding police to the Charlie Hedbo attack were not the Gendarmerie Nationale, but civilian Police nationale, or Surete (Sur-ay-tay), like our civilian police here in the US. All Surete are issued and carry a Swiss SIG Saurer Pro-series semi-automatic pistol 9mm pistol, and many carry rifles and/or shotguns in their vehicles like US domestic police.

By domestic standards, crime is violent rare in Paris and France as a whole. Terrorism and extremist attacks are rare as well. The Surete has excellent SWAT, anti-terrorism and rapid response units. Communication and coordination between Surete and the Gendarmerie is excellent as well. The first police responded in Paris within 3 minutes. Video from today’s attack show that the police were surprised while responding, facing combat hardened gunmen with assault weapons and possibly body armor before they could even draw their weapons.

Two officers were killed. One was hit in a hail of bullets and wounded. The attackers then finished the officer off moments later. Will FOX News televise their funeral hour by hour as well, or will they forget this story when Michelle Obama makes a remark about bacon or vegetables or school lunches in a few days? imagesYOXYKALI

Gun ownership in France is permitted, but is licensed. Stock piling bullets for pistols is not permitted. Owners of small arms may keep 20 rounds at any one time. Hunters, sportsmen and rifle owners are permitted to maintain 1000 rounds. Guns can be owned legally with appropriate and reasonable permits. Ownership of guns in France is common and easier than in many other European countries. However, with the EU, there are no border customs control. Buying guns legally or illegally in Eastern and Southern Europe, or Turkey and transporting them throughout Europe is as simple as buying guns at an Indian gun fair and driving them to the south side of Chicago.

As for reaction by Muslims to the attack, apparently for Charlie Hedbo’s cartoon depictions of the prophet Muhammad, The Arab league in Cairo and Al-Azhar, Sunni Islam’s most prestigious, organizations, Canadian Muslim leaders, Saudi Arabia and British Muslim leaders immediately and strongly condemned the attack. It is the same for ISIS as well, with many Muslim leaders and nations condemning the group.imagesSIRRUYDA

Finally, a leading Muslim cleric in Britain remarked on the BBC that “Journalists are free to produce those cartoons in a free society, and we as Muslims are free to peacefully oppose them…We Jews, Muslims and Christians must come together and unify against this threat.” The journalist responsible for the cartoon is Stephanie Charbonnier. He was killed in the attack.

While respect and sensitivity to diverse perspectives in the community, freedom of expression must be paramount throughout society. Charlie Hebdo clearly carried that to an extreme, but in their defense the magazine was an equal opportunity offender. That is why we have published a cross-section of those offending covers, with apologies to all of our friends who might take offense. The freedom of expression and of journalism, however is much larger that individual sensitivities. We will likely never post them again, but out of duty in defense of expression and freedom, and to honor the memories of the dead, not only in Paris, but for those oppressed by any censorship, including American corporatist censorship and self-censorship, Revolution and Beer will not waver from its responsibility. Charia-Hebdo-couverture-Charlie-Hebdo

Rest in peace truth warriors. Rest assured that others shall carry that torch against all extremism, fascism and forces of control who would oppress, conceal or attack the real truths in this world.

Race Baiting and Ferguson. All about gun sales?

Sadly, they are getting too easy to predict, but that still doesn’t seem to mitigate the danger the NRA poses to American democracy. By all appearances the media and NRA are eagerly stoking the flames of racial animosity, and even violence as a means of reversing flagging gun sales in 2014. Earlier this year in a Revolution and Beer exclusive, Rand Paul’s effort to pass legislation requiring every licensed commercial pilot in America to carry a weapon was exposed as a naked scheme to boost gun sales. In Paul, the NRA has bought and paid for a ready and willing political ally.

Prior to Newtown the NRA invested $294 thousand dollars in purchasing members of Congress, or more than $21 million since 1990. http://www.opposingviews.com/i/society/guns/how-much-did-nra-pay-senators-who-killed-gun-background-checks Both then Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senator Rand Paul benefitted greatly from the NRA’s abundant, string’s attached generosity. That does not include tens of millions in political advertisements which were often conveniently placed to support specific candidates. In fact, all of those Senators which appeared on FOX and on rightwing media decrying any reasonable gun control legislation, like Ted Cruz, James Inhofe, Roy Blunt, Jim Risch, Chuck Grassly and Saxby Chambliss, to name a few, received thousands in donations from the NRA.

After reading and re-reading the Ferguson Grand Jury testimony and evidence, I was perplexed at the blatant misrepresentation by talk show hosts on the right, like Sean Hannity, Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh. Revolution and Beer has remained very close to the Brown case, and was first to question the initial reports that Officer Darren Wilson suffered serious injuries during the altercation with Brown. Then in a CNN article following this years Black Friday sales, this line jumped out:

“Traditionally, Black Friday is one of our busiest days for transaction volume,” Fischer said.
Indeed, Friday saw the highest number of background checks ever for a Black Friday, and second in history. The highest day on record was December 21, 2012, with more than 177,000 background checks.”
http://www.cnn.com/2014/11/28/us/black-friday-gun-sales/index.html

Recognize that date, December 21st, 2012? Just 7 days earlier Adam Lanza walked into Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown Connecticut and fatally shot 20 children and 6 adults. Recall that the rightwing media reacted swiftly against gun control proponents, and rumors circulated allegedly by the NRA or its surrogates of gun grabs and bans.

In August, Businessweek reported on steeply slumping guns sales. Gunmaker Smith and Wesson had seen 2nd quarter sales dropping 23%, with profits suffering at 45% Other gunmakers suffered similarly. More and more the politically motivated industry has looked to the NRA, once a sportsman’s organization, to act instead as the marketing wing for the industry. For the NRA, whose best marketing tool is FOX News and rightwing talk radio that effort is manifest in manipulating the aftermaths of America’s darkest and bloodiest moments. Although I reject the word, that has to about as close to evil as one can get.

Just trying to get through the day without too many assholes…

Debating a republican friend of mine. We all have them; decent people who otherwise regurgitate every insipidly dumb thing spewed into the so-called public airwaves by FOX and talk radio idiots. I have thoughts on ISIS and what should be done them. I lean towards military action as part of a spectrum of responses, but the more I see ex-generals who lead our nations soldiers to lunches in the PX or pushing papers in Washington on FOX extolling the need for more war, the less I prefer military options. Especially when everyone of these ex-generals is on the board of weapons industry companies. http://www.thenation.com/article/181601/generals-pundits-tk-tk. When Jack Keane, advisor to Academi(formerly Blackwater) and a board member of weapons contractor General Dynamics and Anthony Zinni, outside Director of the “global dense, aerospace and security company” BAE Systems, turn up on FOX pushing for massive military intervention I feel like I’m being played.

Seal the borders, double security at all airports, watch who comes and goes from all Mosques, says my friend. We might have to reopen the camps again! Ship them all home or force them to convert like Sarah Palin says. They’re here, he says. ISIS is streaming across the border in Mexico. I heard it on FOX! And they all have Ebola!

When I reply he’s being a bit paranoid, and that we risk damaging the trust of Muslim neighbors, and perhaps terrifying them-many who have faced genocide and inter-ethnic or national violence in their previous homes-into believing that America is no different than the rest of the world, he was undeterred. The enemy is here! Religion of peace? Ha! There are 1.6 billion Muslims, and if 10% want to kill us…it took him a while to do the math…that means 160 million Muslims! You Liberals, he froths, just don’t get that we are threatened from without and from within.

I say first of all, no offense, but you’re an idiot. It’s alright, he calls me an idiot sometimes too. He’s just wrong about it though. The 10% is made up. There never have been any poles. That was a number Sean Hannity and other right wingers began repeating as if there had been a study done. Never has been. Never was. No such number. And don’t send me this article or that estimate. they are simply repeating the same falsehood. And if 10% of Muslims do hate us, guaranteed it started after 2003 when Bush and Cheney and the right decided to make all this mess about religion rather than about a broader issue of justice.

Second, I tell him, though he’s sort of still seething from the idiot remark, he wants to look at everything as a chicken little, good cowboy/bad cowboy sort of way: Muslims bad, Americans(and Israel) good. Rather, this is how I view the world. The fat white guy who cut me off in his Hummer with an up-raised middle finger a half hour ago is far more of an immediate threat to me and my day than ISIS. the right wing Tea Party idiot in congress, like Texas republican Jack Carter, who votes to slash food stamps to hungry families but approves of hundreds of billions going to corporations is way more of a threat to me than ISIS. the cop who pepper sprays a young girl for protesting proven illegal foreclosures by bankers who will never see a day in jail and will likely be paid a bonus is an exponentially greater threat to me than ISIS. Likewise, the Senator saying the science isn’t in on the climate crisis, with oil company money in his pocket is, well…

ISIS is a danger, so are white supremacists, fascist vegans, fascist Christians, drunken Cubs fans who piss everywhere in the neighborhood, fascist Jews, bigots, the lady at the grocery store who was a complete bitch last night, the retired white guy who thinks the gas station where I’ve just run in for gas while trying to get to work is his own private lottery casino, people who use Socialist as a pejorative, Liberals who dodge the word liberal, people who call themselves libertarians without knowing what the word really means(hint, it isn’t a republican without religion), the Arab guy racing through traffic ala Baghdad driving rules yesterday, people who don’t pick up after their dogs, anyone in the Tea party, 44.5% of the Democrat party, 69.8% of the Republicans, Black guys who become president and then bend over backwards to be white, anyone left or right who starts an argument with “the founding fathers…” or “Thomas Jefferson once said…”, ex-congressmen who become radio hosts and people who blame women for being hit or sexually assaulted. And, above all I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate BULLIES! Of any kind.

the real threats to my life and existence and the happiness of my wife and family boils down to one simple club. It’s a big club, and I spend my days either doing my damnedest to avoid them or fight against them. I know they exist, but they aren’t just in Iraq and Syria right now, they are everywhere. Hell, I admit to being one from time to time. The world would be so much better if we all realized that simple fact, and stopped subdividing these people down to this group or that group and simply called them out for the collective misery they perpetrate on the rest of us.

Until that day I am just trying to get through my day without dealing with assholes. When they pop up and refuse to go away then the world hammers them back into the dark hole they came from…

The ISIS Overreaction. No strategy may be part of the strategy. A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out with soap) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!………………..

Do something! Why doesn’t Obama have a strategy? Just go bomb ISIS back to the stone-a…okay, pre-stone-age. I am not an Obama apologist, and I advocate a robust reaction to ISIS, but people, PLEEAASSEE! The just-do-something syndrome is as dangerous in this instance as the don’t-do-nothing paralysis. For all of the experts who either can compel us that war is never the answer and we should just ignore ISIS like a petulant child until they realize their erroneous ways to the war pornographers who want to ride, or ride someone’s kid over the hill in some Yee-ha, cheap beer swillin,’ flag waving sporting event, where are the real questions for all these self-infatuated experts? Jumping in with both feet on this one just cuz ya gotta have a strategy to satisfy most people in this country who would struggle to find Syria on a map, let alone bomb it is dangerous.

But FOX and the Republicans are hysterical over Muslims, Muslims, Muslims everywhere! So we jump in hard. Does that become a giant lightening rod for Jihadists, a tipping point for moderates, a call to arms out of sympathy? And then what? A bombing campaign must be backed up with a longer term strategy on the ground and internationally. What does the US-led bombing of Sunnis in Iraq mean for the ethnic divisions strained to the breaking point in Iraq? Those opposing ISIS on the ground are fractured, factionalized and often beleaguered.

ISIS has drawn thousands to their ranks amid porous borders that would make the Mexican/American border look like the Berlin Wall by comparison. What happens to those people? Who polices them up? Who restores order without turning genocidal or vengeful against otherwise peaceful and victimized Sunnis caught in the middle of the Sunni fanatics of ISIS? What is they scatter and export violence in an ill-conceived war? What stabilizes the region in the longer term that prevents this from flaring again? Because those answers are difficult doesn’t mean we do nothing, by the way.

As for Syria, Assad is not suddenly our pal, but there is a semblance of stability across extremist Sunni and Shia lines, but there is also legitimacy to the original rebellion which was co-opted, and from which sprang this extremism. Here’s the deal. The world isn’t a cartoon. It is complex, which is not a call for inaction, but rather caution, planning, perspective and wisdom. After the major fuck ups of foreign policy the past 40 years by this country, we ought to be wise as old owls! If you absolutely have to stick something into the wall socket, you’d better damn well turn off the breakers feeding the current, or at the very least make sure you are grounded. Jamming something in the wall, otherwise, will likely bring a world of unexpected surprises…and none of them are good.

The real lesson from Robin Williams depression and suicide. Are you $%#@ing kidding me? A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out with soap) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!………………..You want the truth? YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH! Ukraine, ISIS, Ebola: the world has gone to hell. At least when I woke up this morning my very first thought was, right after ‘Christ, I have to pee,’ was at least Robin Williams is still alive. Then, SMACK! The news that Williams had committed suicide. So then I thought, I know, for good, clear, reasoned, information I’ll turn on Sheppard Smith and FOX. So then Smith calls Williams a coward and I thought to myself, probably committing suicide is one of the least cowardly things you can do. Not the best or even a recommended solution, but hardly an act of cowardice, not like, say a FOX News head who can call Williams a coward, but is too much of a coward to come out of the closet and admit he’s gay, at least in my humble opinion. And some trollop named Jacobsen on a local rightwing shit hole radio station echoed Smith’s remarks. This from a reporter who was more than willing to slut-walk her way in a bikini to the home of an accused killer to get the “scoop.” Both know-nothing paid robots for a corporate suck-dick media serve to highlight the current level of ignorance about mental illness and a lack of simple human empathy by a generation of media assholes crafted and cultivated to degrade the connections between people to make them better and more reactionary consumers of the schlock shit paraded for goods services and information in what was once a real culture into a plastic disposable one. This public shaming based on your stupidity is like we are still a part of some migratory steppe society instead of a modern fucking, tech and industry based society with books and shit. The whole reaction to Williams’ death highlights the dork parade of media insipidness and pointlessness, and to underscore that when it comes to mental ILLNESS, we will call some 60 year old fuck’s inability to get a fucking hardon into a disability but brush off depression, and other mental illnesses as something to “Get over,” because “it’s all in your head,” as if the brain was a lesser organ than kidneys, or the heart or an old man’s cock. As for pain, we also have apparently arbitrarily decided, as if leeches and bloodletting and demon exorcising were still the medical breakthroughs of the day, that the pain of mental illness is somehow lesser or of a different quality than slamming your hand, or an old man’s dick in a car door. I could spout chapter and verse about how we have learned, but apparently don’t use, an incredible amount about psychology, mental illness, physiology of the brain and the supreme systemic inter-connectedness of the mind and body, but that should be obvious every time you have a migraine and puke, are psychologically comforted by a foot rub or that an aspirin in your tummy stops a headache in your little pin head. It’s like that old Lewis Black joke about dumb people feeding Viagra directly to their penis to make it grow. Some people are just too fucking dumb to help. So I will make it simple. It comes down to this; who the fuck are you to decide how much someone else does or should hurt? I just had a dislocated shoulder and 2 broken ribs after a crash and still managed to get back on a bicycle for some long distance rides. If you can’t do that, do I have a right to call you a pussie, or do we have our own individual limitations, and instead of playing some Housewives of Bitch City sort of reality show shame game in which we descend to our base selves we decide that we need to help each other deal with our inherent differences and limits. Really upset by the suicide of Robin Williams? Prove it by moving the conversation on mental illness forward and fucking helping people instead of remaining content just to be another asshole!

Immigrants and their Ebola will kill all god-fearing Americans! Are you $%#@ing kidding me? A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!……………….. Immigrants???!!! We are all seriously fucked now. I just turned on FOX news are some talking asshole named Chris Wallace, the suck dick for a job son of Mike Wallace from CBS and 60 minutes did an alarming piece on Ebola, formerly an African disease that turns your insides to a bloody froth before you shit yourself to death. He dove right in an all but connected it with the immigrant kids invading our southern border. Holy shit! Are those kids about to wipe out white fucking America with Ebola bombs. We’re fucked! Our race is fucked!. Too many brown goddamned immigrants, and every one of them leaving their families, swimming through shark infested waters, travelling 3000 fucking miles without shoes and fucking food to trudge across a desert where they could be killed or die a hundred awful fucking ways just to collect Obama’s $900 a month welfare windfall. Brilliant!… How does Chris Wallace wake up in the morning and, how does his dad not blow his fucking smug brat of a piece of shit of a son away for his smiling rape of true journalism? Here’s the deal, and you are thinking all of this too, so shut the fuck up! Immigrants are a pain in the ass. In my neighborhood a lot of them were African goatherders in the desert last week and this week they’re driving a taxi in a major fucking metropolitan area, or the middle easterners drive like they’re still back in fucking Kashmir or Karachi or fucking Bagdad. Ask my wife about the rude as shit Polish, Indian and Bulgarian bitches she has to deal with. All these goddamned foreigners! They’re like that new motherfucker in the office, and you have to show the asshole everything, cuz he’s fucking new (like that should be an excuse) and you fucking don’t have time for that shit. Pick it up on your own or get the fuck out, and you’re shocked when he fucks something up. And you fucking hate that foreign asshole because he comes in spouting all that hate bullshit at lunch about the old country and the war he just survived. Don’t bring your war and hate over here, right, because we’ve got our own hate, all we can handle here, and we fucking don’t need layers of shit. The one dimensional race hate, or those uppity fags trying to get “rights” to love who they want (Selfish fucks!) or the trannies and don’t forget about the women is enough for us! And we don’t need those Muslims over here with their religion of fucking hate and terriorism. We’ve already got that, it’s called corporatized fucking Christianity. Holy shit, we’ve got enough fucking hate to go around. Fuck, we hate each other, other white people and even our fucking selves. And if there is one thing the brown immigrants are going to upset is the magical fucking existence and all the good things us white people are doing to the planet, like global fucking warming, wars for fucking oil, telling women what they can do with their bodies and fucking over blacks and telling them it’s they’re fucking fault, and telling poor people in Detroit who can’t get water to go fuck themselves. And what about our kids? If we take in all these little fucking brown rats, wet backs and taco eaters, how are we going to justify cutting food stamps while paying rich motherfuckers more and more so they can face fuck us and call it a buffet? Top notch, that we give corporations $3 trillion in government subsidies so we can spend another $10 trillion for the cheap shit they shovel at us, but we can’t spend a couple of billion on children and the poor? No, we have to think of the American kids we’re fucking, instead of adding more foreign kids to fuck as well. Besides, we’ve got a proper system of exploitation by American corporations to fuck them in their own country, or to start wars in their homeland and then walk away saying they have to solve those problems on their own. After all, we are not the worlds policemen, which I agree wholeheartedly with by the way. We were once that shining city on a hill, and the sometimes world policeman, but that required that we gave a fuck about something other than sucking our own dick. Now we are the world’s vandal, the ambassadors of shitty plastic culture and corporate bullies. Hell, we might as well tear down that cunt on Staten Island with that bullshit “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,” written by some bitch named Emma Lazarus. Sounds fucking communist anyway, and where the fuck was she from? Lazarus? Sounds fucking Jewish or Russian or whatever. Don’t recall those words also read with a visa, if you are white and with three forms of approved ID, or whatever the white or the dumb selfish ignorant motherfuckers this country now produces decides. I thought the words were pretty fucking clear and simple. Should be the “Statue of us against all the scum of the world.” Fuck liberty. Freedom is a bullshit lie if it excludes a single fucking soul in the whole goddamned universe! Tear that bitch down and put up a giant middle finger to truly reflect the values of this new America: FUCK YOU WORLD!

I’m confused… Israel bombs clearly marked UN civilian shelter despite acknowledging they had the exact GPS coordinates, killing 15. Evidence shows no militants in or near compound. Israel offered no evidence. Israeli soldiers also fired on peaceful civilian protest by desperate frightened civilians. FOX News says they “Clashed” with Israeli “Defense” Forces. Palestinian death toll now at 800, including more than 200 children. 4 hospitals and a children’s hospital hit directly by shells. Israel says that they warn residents to get out. Ironic, as Palestinians are not allowed to leave Gaza. Where are they to go? We’re told that Israel’s Mossad can do everything from finding Nazi camp guards and terrorists anywhere in the world and assassinate Iranian nuclear scientists in downtown Tehran, but somehow can’t find Hamas leaders corralled in Gaza 300 feet from the massive wall they erected around tiny Gaza? Gaza is the same territorial size as Evanston, Illinois with a population of 1.7 million. Israel says that Hamas uses civilians as shields, compelling civilian collateral damage. They have satellites, video cameras and aerial surveillance of every square inch of Gaza , and yet produce nothing except a few poorly armed individuals shooting from the rubble of their home directly at attacking tanks and soldiers. Some tunnels admittedly are for terrorism, many help smuggle embargoed water, food and medicine. Where is the proof they are using human shields as cover for terror? Just because Netanyahu says it only makes the corporate media believe it. In 1994 a dozen small mortar shells exploded within yards of me in Bosnia. I felt the shockwave effects for 3 days. Israel is dropping 500 lb and 1000 lb bombs in crowded city neighborhoods. What do you think the effects will be? Call President Obama at 202-456-1111. Tell him his legacy and the historic moral and strategic legacy of America is at stake. #BringBackOurGirls: An open letter to men

So Boco Haram kidnaps three hundred girls for slave-wives, while women in America are accused of contributing to their own rapes. Of 1325 candidates for Congress in India in 2014, from the 3 major parties (BJP, Congress and AAP) only about 12% were women. Senegal, Liberia, Kosovo, South Korea and Malawi are among a number of countries with women leaders, but still less than 10% of the total. The Right-wing in America, in solidarity with Uganda, is apoplectic about gay marriage but totally silent about forced, arranged and kidnap marriages; which I guess somehow fits into their concept of marriage between one man and one woman.

Women make up half of the planet but only account for 20% of news stories, 29% of print journalists, and are nakedly discriminated against in TV and cable news once they pass the age of 35. There are more than 230,000 women age 12 and older who are victims of sexual assault in America each year. Texas congresswoman Wendy Davis and Hillary Clinton have been mercilessly attacked by the Right-wing media over their looks: Hillary’s pants suits and worse… Michelle Obama has been relentlessly impugned for her looks. The examples of those insults would be far too numerous to list here. FOX News sacrificed untold hours to explain why women in this country deserved to be paid less.

Getting the picture here? Do I need to talk about rape camps in Bosnia and elsewhere? There were no male rape camps. The history of human conflict is replete with stories of mass rape by conquering armies. Women in America could be considered the property of their husbands well into the 20th century and Saudi women still cannot drive automobiles. Here women are denied rights of sovereignty over their own bodies. Please don’t get started by those creepy cult-like Purity Balls! Purity_ball_ritual

I could write volumes on the subservient, oppressive and abusive way woman are treated in every nation, every religion around the planet. An evangelical minister recently argued that only men of a household should be allowed to vote. Women are half the species, but men have made them the bottom half, with women like Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin and Michelle Bachman gleefully and profitably helped men maintain their hegemony. So you’ll forgive me if I don’t buy the kidnapping by Nigerian Boco Haram misogynists as yet another example of Islamic zealotry.

The horror in Nigeria, first of all, is a far more complex issue that the cartoonists in the corporate Press would like you to know about. More than that, it is not a product of Islamic extremism or the fault of a religion. It is, in my very informed and secure opinion a consequence of and a failure by men. We do not, as a gender hold other men accountable for crimes against women, except in instances when it truly feels like arguing over property rights.

I have been told by my wife and numerous female friends that they are constantly aware and concerned about being alone on the street, in a dark place, on an El platform of on public transportation. I nearly got into a physical confrontation with three men on a nearly empty train car some years ago who had a young woman in tears. We managed at the last moment to both slip out the door at a stop. Every woman I know has been groped, grabbed, shouted or whispered obscenities to, followed and sexually harassed by strange men. I can walk down most any street in this city without fear, and with no fear of being sexually assaulted. A close friend, a former sheriff’s deputy, who carries a weapon, worries about being surprised, jumped or cold-cocked before she can reach her weapon. It is a fundamental difference between men and women that level of fear, anxiety, or simply having the thought of the possibility of assault at all.

All men, by silence, ignorance and action contribute to the global environment that allows, excuses, ignores or perpetuates a culture of threat and violence against women. The evangelical preacher who would deny his wife the vote as head of the household opens the door to a subservient and oppressive environment. While he may be on the fringe of that cloud and distant from the most oppressive and dangerous center of the cloud, he is still a part of the cloud. The FOX news pundit who argues for women making less than men has already begun the work of degrading the value of women, or defining them purely by their gender. Simply the negation of a woman’s sovereignty over her own body and future already draws a distinction between the character of a man’s freedom and that of a woman’s, and that degrades any assertions in any holy book or national constitution of freedom is at best a hypocrisy.

Boco Haram did not kidnap boys or men. They only kidnapped young women for brides, sex and sexual slavery. Those are not tenants of any religion. They are the time worn history of our species enacted through every culture, race, nationality and religion by men. It is the habit and practice of men, affirmed by the silence of other men. When and until that is honestly confronted by both men and women nothing we face collectively as a species will ever properly be solved.
