Lot’s of false immigration info being spread about California. Here are some facts:
11 million of California’s 38 million are Hispanic. There are 3 million estimated to be undocumented. 61% of that 3 million, or about 1.83 million, utilize some type of public assistance. That sounds bad, but wait. They are most likely to use Medical assistance, unemployment insurance, and public education. Public education takes up the largest share, mostly by their American citizen children. (It’s in the constitution, originalists! Don’t ya just hate those immigrant loving founding fathers?) Undocumented immigrants make up 10% of the workforce and generate $130 billion to the GDP, helping to pay for roads, schools, bridges, hospitals and the salaries of republican politicians. If we accept, as FOX News did, the Federation for American Immigration Reform estimate that illegal immigration costs the US $113 billion, then $113 from $130 billion means the US saw conservatively a net gain of $17 billion Dollars, or more than the annual GDP of Iceland.
