The murder, remurder and murder again of Michael Brown

imagesyy I’m out of the hospital again and P@#$ed off! A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out with soap) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!………………..This is how it works in the media, and with a government that is weighted to the status quo rather than justice, because true justice endangers the inherent corruption of the status quo, and remains the only viable protection for individual sovereignty. That is why the status quo business, media and government expend every energy to kill true justice. Remember when the Ferguson police chief, the same day he was forced to reveal the name of Michael Brown’s killer, then in the very same breath release a video purporting to be Michael Brown, Serial cigar stealer? It wasn’t until near the end of the Press conference, actually Press dictate, that he revealed the officer knew nothing about the cigar caper. It was a sucker punch to the dead boy’s reputation. Today, celebrity forensic specialist Michael Boden concluded his autopsy showing 6 wounds, two of them fatal to the head which corroborate witness testimony and suddenly (amazingly!!!) the cops “friend” has the skinny a week later to explain the reason the 6 year veteran of the police force, with a taser and mace, and at the very least the capacity to shoot the kid in the legs, nails him twice with head shots???? WTF. If you haven’t heard, some mousey housewife on the phone claims the big black man “bum-rushed” little old policeman. No vetting. No critical evaluation; just buying hook line and sinker. Now, all the middle of the road white people can again look down on the lowly blacks and side safely with the police. Congrats white folk, media and government, you stretched and bent over far enough for the Ferguson police to drive one of their armored cars up your tight liberal ass and buy the police narrative hook line and sinker. So now its okay for the cops to dress in camouflage with weapons of war bif its at niggers and Mexicans, right? Whew, that was a close one. We all almost had to almost become self-hating whiteys and stand for a minute on the side of a larger humanity than shitty shopping malls and water-fucking-parks or Miley-fucking-Cyrus. And the Missouri governor covered his ass with a single night of sitting back without engaging the unrest in the community with a conversation or and sort of outreach. Instead, he just let the fire burn so that he can call in the army on the uppity niggers tonight. Nailed the Ozarks vote! Progress? If oppression is progress than we as a nation have just surged forward immeasurably. If repeating scenes from Selma Alabama circa the civil rights struggle during the 60s is progress I want none of it. Again, I am watching our nation trade justice for power and respect of individual rights for racial hegemony, aided by a media built and created entirely to message and maintain and deliver that perpetual hegemony. The National Lawyers Guild is in Ferguson to help & needs our assistance

The National Lawyers Guild (NLG) has long been a vital ally in our struggle for human rights and freedom. As many of us, either through individual action or collective affiliations, work to support and expand these crucial values, the NLG has stood beside us and covered our backs when we’ve been swept- up into the court system. Despite attacks on their organization and members, they firmly stand on their commitment to provide us with the invaluable monitoring of the State’s tactics deployed against us and the legal support to protect our constitutional rights.

Ferguson-NghtVisn-08-17_7.36.48PM

As we have focused our minds and efforts intensely on the circumstances surrounding the killing of Michael Brown in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, so has the NLG. They have engaged the by coordinating these same kinds of assistance to the people there that have faced the incredible force used by the authorities. Please consider donating to their campaign so that they can maintain and extend these legal services to those that have been swept-up in this tragic episode.

Michael Brown killed a second time! Are you $%#@ing kidding me? A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out with soap) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!………………..Ferguson police chief, Thomas Jackson in a press statement named the officer responsible for the shooting death of 18 year old Michael Brown. Thomas, in a statement meant to justify the shooting and obscure already public facts surrounding the death from witnesses than add clarity, refused to take questions. It had the effect of executing Michael Brown a second time by connecting him with a robbery. Witnesses say that the officer did not question Brown, or stop them regarding an investigation, nor did he or his companion match descriptions and or suspects captured by security video. Instead Brown and his companion were ordered to “get the fuck out of the street,” by Jackson, who then doubled back. The bitter sucker punch by Jackson and the Ferguson Police Department, embarrassed and emasculated over their occupation style-tactics to bully the community, and to assist the media in framing a very small minority of the protesters as looters only underscores the unprofessionalism and incompetence of that leadership. The protests should also underscore a simmering rage in the Black community that needs to be honestly addressed, rather than continuing what amounts to a passive-apartheid system. Never once did even the city’s dog catcher offer respect to protesters by engaging in a conversation. Instead they copped this Mississippi-burning sort of put-the-niggers-in-their-place war footing. And claiming there is no racism and that the system is fair to minorities by pointing to individuals is like saying that Las Vegas’ number one priority is to make you rich. But if you think that, as Frederick Douglas exhorted, “Power concedes nothing without demand,” then the pressure by the community has so far been a success. It is a myth that Gandhi and ML King jr. were exclusively nonviolent. Gandhi praised Indian revolutionaries and King in his last years was moving closer to a position held by Malcolm X. So for all those that believe protests should be calm and orderly: Bullshit! A riot has no purpose, but a rebellion, like Ferguson, demands change, redress and justice. Every protest at some point must carry the promise of violence if it is to have depth and to be believable, otherwise it is a parade; and parades are for clowns and children!

Not a Riot, but a Rebellion! Are you $%#@ing kidding me? A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out with soap) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!………………..This is how the headline should read: “Overnight, Police again refused to engage community leaders, Employ war tactics.” Every black person I talked to yesterday was pissed off about the events in Ferguson Missouri in the aftermath of the shooting death of unarmed 18 year old Michael Brown. CNN reporter Ryan Reilly reported being harassed and bullied by police last night. Christ, the cops are dressed like fucking occupation forces in combat boots, camouflage fatigues and fuck MACHINE GUNS. In FUCKING AMERICA! There was unrest again overnight and strangely it is becoming more difficult to defend any action or any reasonable need for the continued sheltering of the officer accused of shooting Brown. In a piece the day after the shooting I criticized the police and city for failing to invite protest and community leaders to a conversation which would have immediately diffused the tension and emotion. They didn’t so much as send out a city garbage man even to speak with the community. Instead the police immediately drew battle lines against American citizens, and sought to muddy the waters with disinformation paraded as fact in the face of substantially conflicting witness statements, the location of the body and execution style shots to the head and chest that ended Brown’s life. The officer had randomly and ostensibly stopped Brown for jaywalking. Fucking jaywalking! After the shooting, officials said that the officer was treated at a hospital for injuries, a common union trick. Through rightwing media filters, spin and lies by now the cop is blind, missing an eyebrow and as disfigured as the lady who had her face chewed off by that chimp. But if, in fact, the officer was actually assaulted, why wasn’t Brown’s companion, Dorian Johnson, who recalled the officer pulling up in an SUV and shouting “Get the fuck out of the road,” arrested? There isn’t even a warrant issued. He recalled, corroborated by independent witnesses, that the officer reverse the vehicle and grabbed Brown by the neck then shot him once before Brown broke away and urged his friend to run. The unarmed Brown was then shot dead in the middle of the street. And so when righteously angry people turned out enmasse instead of answers or respect they got a giant “Fuck you” from authorities. Images evoke Mississippi and Alabama during the 1960s. So forgive me if I don’t write pieces to calm people down or plead for Blacks to control themselves. Hard to take the high road when you are being fucked on the low road. We have become a nation under occupation by a pseudo military police no longer charged with serving and protecting the public but controlling the public. With the suck-dick entertainment culture of this society, that only becomes apparent when the state runs over some kid and emotion and anger boils over. That means nobody was paying attention before that kid got run over. A hand full were bitching without action, a hand full were acting without engaging the community and the rest were watching some fucking reality TV show. The black community already feels the occupation and control. The rest of us just think the state wants to keep us all safe from terrorists, you gullible fucks. Time for everybody to wake the fuck up and realize when this shit breaks it will break hard. Blacks, immigrants and minorities know t heir civil rights are a joke. Blacks knew when they were slaves. White fold remain clueless. You could work to fix this before it breaks, by, say making sure this is a free society, reigning in the police and state, demilitarizing the society and realizing that white people essentially live on a desert island of privilege, but the tide is rising. You are either with the tide or drowned by it. The choice is yours.

The real lesson from Robin Williams depression and suicide. Are you $%#@ing kidding me? A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out with soap) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!………………..You want the truth? YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH! Ukraine, ISIS, Ebola: the world has gone to hell. At least when I woke up this morning my very first thought was, right after ‘Christ, I have to pee,’ was at least Robin Williams is still alive. Then, SMACK! The news that Williams had committed suicide. So then I thought, I know, for good, clear, reasoned, information I’ll turn on Sheppard Smith and FOX. So then Smith calls Williams a coward and I thought to myself, probably committing suicide is one of the least cowardly things you can do. Not the best or even a recommended solution, but hardly an act of cowardice, not like, say a FOX News head who can call Williams a coward, but is too much of a coward to come out of the closet and admit he’s gay, at least in my humble opinion. And some trollop named Jacobsen on a local rightwing shit hole radio station echoed Smith’s remarks. This from a reporter who was more than willing to slut-walk her way in a bikini to the home of an accused killer to get the “scoop.” Both know-nothing paid robots for a corporate suck-dick media serve to highlight the current level of ignorance about mental illness and a lack of simple human empathy by a generation of media assholes crafted and cultivated to degrade the connections between people to make them better and more reactionary consumers of the schlock shit paraded for goods services and information in what was once a real culture into a plastic disposable one. This public shaming based on your stupidity is like we are still a part of some migratory steppe society instead of a modern fucking, tech and industry based society with books and shit. The whole reaction to Williams’ death highlights the dork parade of media insipidness and pointlessness, and to underscore that when it comes to mental ILLNESS, we will call some 60 year old fuck’s inability to get a fucking hardon into a disability but brush off depression, and other mental illnesses as something to “Get over,” because “it’s all in your head,” as if the brain was a lesser organ than kidneys, or the heart or an old man’s cock. As for pain, we also have apparently arbitrarily decided, as if leeches and bloodletting and demon exorcising were still the medical breakthroughs of the day, that the pain of mental illness is somehow lesser or of a different quality than slamming your hand, or an old man’s dick in a car door. I could spout chapter and verse about how we have learned, but apparently don’t use, an incredible amount about psychology, mental illness, physiology of the brain and the supreme systemic inter-connectedness of the mind and body, but that should be obvious every time you have a migraine and puke, are psychologically comforted by a foot rub or that an aspirin in your tummy stops a headache in your little pin head. It’s like that old Lewis Black joke about dumb people feeding Viagra directly to their penis to make it grow. Some people are just too fucking dumb to help. So I will make it simple. It comes down to this; who the fuck are you to decide how much someone else does or should hurt? I just had a dislocated shoulder and 2 broken ribs after a crash and still managed to get back on a bicycle for some long distance rides. If you can’t do that, do I have a right to call you a pussie, or do we have our own individual limitations, and instead of playing some Housewives of Bitch City sort of reality show shame game in which we descend to our base selves we decide that we need to help each other deal with our inherent differences and limits. Really upset by the suicide of Robin Williams? Prove it by moving the conversation on mental illness forward and fucking helping people instead of remaining content just to be another asshole!

Aaaaannnnd Scene! Robin Williams dead at 63

Are you $%#@ing kidding me? A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out with soap) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!………………..God, it must suck to be Game of Thrones Season 5 actor JJ Murphy, who also died today. But I am not shedding any tears for Williams, who was suffering from depression. It appears from preliminary reports that Williams died by his own hand by asphyxia. At least he got to decide. Maybe it saved him pain he could no longer bear any longer, or inflict upon anyone else. Maybe he wanted to go before withering away or becoming lame or ending up a drooling vegetable like Casey fucking Kasem. Maybe he took a curtain call because the act was over, and who the fuck are we except the ticket holders to the last curtain call. He got to decide the show and we are the ones who show up when the lights go up, right? If you’re still hanging around after the show, you are either a stalker, a hooker or the janitor. So Robin Williams took a bow, because he’s the one who knows when he’s done. Besides, I think he’d find the cultish weep fest a bit creepy, an aspect of a media society that seeks to replace our empty lives with the abstract that celebrities love us back. That’s a two way street by the way. I think Williams was a great performer. I enjoyed the shit out of his work and will probably cue something up tonight, but I also understand Williams wasn’t likely to mourn for me. Would have been nice to have some new work from him, but that was his decision, and whether there is or isn’t tomorrow, life goes on. It would have for him, it should for the rest of us too. RIP Robin Williams. Suck it in, the rest of us are on our way soon enough. Now that’s funny.

Black People Looting Again! Oh, and a N****r was killed too. Who Cares: Looters!!!

Are you $%#@ing kidding me? A new rant from the FILTHY PUNDIT(He ought to have his mouth washed out with soap) Politics, way over the %$#@ing top!………………..So the media is going to make this story all about the looters, which by the way is a dick move against local businesses, but hey, when you abandon and fuck over an entire community, treat them like this is a passive apartheid system, fuck with generations of people-who still didn’t have the right to vote and could be lynched with near impunity well after the “Greatest Generation” saved freedom from the Nazis only to shit on and step on blacks and Mexicans at home; when their current ancestors say fuck that system, you don’t blame the system you blame the looters. As our friend Jerry Boyle pointed out, hard to find anything in the American apartheid media on the death of the young man that didn’t begin and end with looting. And like I said, it is a dick move against mostly hardworking local business people, and it will, in the long run only screw with the viability of the community more, but it’s a little like ignoring the cancer that made your hair fall out and blaming the hair! The riots and unrest in Ferguson Missouri, which followed a protest and vigil, which followed the shooting of an unarmed teen in the mostly Black suburb of St. Louis Saturday evoked just a bit of outrage. Details are conflicting, of course, between the cops and witnesses, but then again the witnesses are all black, so the people who unanimously claim after being shot once 18 year old Michael Brown threw his hands up and was shot twice more and the pictures of his body in the street nowhere near a police car are probably lying. Sorry, did I say shot, I mean fucking executed! Again the culture of cops dispensing punishment, which I thought was what the courts were for. EXCUSE THE FUCK OUT OF ME! Of course the explain-away-fucking-everything, must-be-the-nigger’s-fault police protection program says it was an altercation over the unnamed officer’s weapon in a cruiser. Plausible and believable, especially since the boy’s unarmed body ended up 35 feet from the car!!!???? WTF is the reaction that immediately comes to mind. And when the community is rightly indignant, does the police or mayor or even a fucking dog catcher meet with organizers and community leaders out of, dare I say, respect to draw back the situation from the brink? Do they try to instill, promise and carry through with good faith efforts at an honest and thorough and unbiased and timely investigation? Nope. This system instead fucking lies to the faces of that community, calls in riot police, blindly defends the shooter and buttons up. And you wonder why people, fucked eternally by this system just say fuck the system. If they have no law then I make my own, right? Again, the looting is a dick move, and while I don’t support that, maybe a better target for carrying shit off in the middle of the night would have been one of these suck the dick of corporate America, cops-good-coloreds-monkeys media outlets and start your own local community media on the ashes of a dismantled fucking corporate one. I’m not advocating that, but at some point the shit’s gotta give. Real freedom. Maybe that’s why pussie-assed white people have to carry a gun everywhere, to keep freedom just for them. How about a constitution and a legal system that does what it is supposed to do for everybody. That’s what I call real justice. Call me a dreamer, or maybe someone who believes in a better goddamned America.

Police ready for war, but apparently not for a conversation which might have prevented overnight violence In the middle east, this is called Gaza and Israel.

Evanston Censorship Struggle Challenges Taboo on Palestinian Narrative and False Call for ‘Balance’

Library director Karen Danzig Lyons reverses cancellation of event in wake of
First Amendment outcry, as organizers brace for opposition to Palestinian author.

Forum/Reading: 7PM, Monday, August 11, 2014

Evanston Public Library Community Room, 1703 Orrington Ave, Evanston, IL 60201

Overflow room location: Lake Street Church, 607 Lake St, Evanston, IL 60201, (847) 864-2181

URL for web-cast – live stream: http://www.chicagoactivism.org/live

EVANSTON, IL: After a pitched struggle between peace activists and Evanston Public Library staff, a book reading and community forum with Palestinian author, Ali Abunimah, will go ahead as planned Monday evening at the suburban library. Organizers are bracing for opposition voices to mobilize to attend the event in the wake of their successful battle to push the library to reinstate Abunimah’s presentation.

The library had sought to cancel Abunimah’s discussion of his book, “The Struggle for Justice in Palestine,” because the library had not yet scheduled additional programs to offer a ‘balance’ to Mr Abunimah’s point of view, i.e. an event with a pro-Israeli frame. Peace activists decried the library’s viewpoint particularly when, to their knowledge, no similar request had ever been made in reference to an author event for a recently published book. They argue, when pro-Israel voices already dominate media and public policy discussion on the Israeli occupation and Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza, there is a standard being imposed, that is not imposed for any other topic.

“Palestinians are the only people whose mere existence in any cultural, academic or intellectual space is required to be “balanced” by the presence and voice of their oppressors or their oppressors’ apologists,” says Abunimah.

Online registration for Abunimah’s event filled to capacity within hours, with organizers expecting a lively debate with pro-Zionist activists who are expected to attend to challenge Abuhimah personally now that the library has relented in the face of concerns about censorship and First Amendment rights. 120 seats are reserved in the library, with an expected overflow crowd to be housed to watch the event remotely at nearby Lake Street Church.

The library had announced that it was cancelling Abunimah’s appearance barely a week before he was scheduled to speak, setting off a firestorm of criticism in social media – and the demand for Palestinians to be heard, not just seen and characterized by others. Peace activists have worked with the library to web-cast the event live as part of a larger effort to breach what they say is endemic pro-Israeli media bias.

Abunimah will read a section about Gaza from his book that provides context for the current struggle that the Palestinian people are waging in the beleaguered open-air prison, at an almost unbearable cost, to end Israel’s murderous siege and bombardment. He will discuss what Israeli historian Ilan Pappe has termed Israel’s “genocidal slaughter” in Gaza, which since July 8 has killed over 2,000 people – over 80% percent of whom are civilians, including 450 children.
